My current research mainly focuses on resolving the FIR/submillimeter background light using the SCUBA-2 camera on JCMT, as well as observing sources (submillimeter galaxies; SMGs) detected by our surveys using the submillimeter interferometers (SMA), in particular those faint SMGs that are highly amplified by foreground massive galaxy clusters. The goal of my research is to fully understand the faint SMGs, an important population in dusty universe however currently not well understood.
