Visiting Maunakea: The Onizuka Center for International Astronomy Visitor Information Station (VIS) at Hale Pōhaku (9,200-foot level of Maunakea) is open daily, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with public stargazing nightly from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Escorted summit tours begin at the VIS at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
