Saturday, January 26, Astronaut Ellison Onizuka Science Day, 8:00  a.m. to 3:15 p.m., University of Hawai‘i at Hilo

March 13–19, Keck Week: A celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the W. M. Keck Observatory, includes free open house on March 17.

The Onizuka Center for International Astronomy Visitor Information Station (VIS) at Hale Pōhaku (9,300-foot level of Mauna Kea) is open daily, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Public stargazing nightly from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Escorted summit tours begin at the VIS at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Read this before going.
