Another Award for Tobias Owen

Tobias Owen

IfA astronomer Tobias Owen has won yet another award. On November 2, Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle named him the winner of the Governor's Innovation Award for Innovation by an Individual, citing his achievements as one of the world's leading solar system astronomers. Na Kilo Hoku no. 32 reported that Owen had been awarded the 2009 Gerard P. Kuiper Prize by the Division for Planetary Sciences of the American Astronomical Society and the NASA Medal for Exceptional Public Service.
