Aloha! Welcome to the virtual Onizuka Center for International Astronomy Visitor Information Station on Mauna Kea!

We are here for you on the mountain every day of the year from 9AM until 10PM.

Located at the 9,300 foot (2, 800 meter) level on Mauna Kea, we are here to provide health and safety information, education about the many reasons Mauna Kea is such a significant place, and make sure you have all the hot chocolate you may need!

Free nightly stargazing programs are conducted at the Visitor Station every night of the year, so you too can experience the amazing skies for which Mauna Kea is famous.

Please utilize the menu to the left to find relevant information that may be helpful for your visit to Mauna Kea.
